Job Description
Role : Produce timely and accurate management information for the specified business divisions and manage the accounting for the associated legal entities.
Support team members within the department and the wider finance team to meet agreed goals.
Responsibilities :
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts and reconciliations for specified business units and / or division in line with the published timetable.
• Lead monthly financial review calls with business unit & department managers for specified business units and / or division.
• Provide accounting support to operational managers by providing analysis and reports and advice as required.
• Co-ordinate the monthly / quarterly commission process across the Staffing entities.
• Co-ordinate the monthly Client Analysis & Individual Performance reports across the Staffing entities.
• Work with business unit and department managers to produce budget and forecast data and analysis.
• Prepare and review the balance sheet reconciliations for the areas of responsibility.
• Mentor, train and support less experienced team members in different locations with day to day queries.
• Consolidate European and International results / forecast / budgets etc.
• Provide support to the Accounting team in providing information for the auditors (both external and internal)
• Be pro-active in developing more effective ways of working to improve the overall quality and timeliness of output from the department.
• Deal with telephone, face to face and e-mail enquiries from colleagues and external contacts and to provide accurate information as necessary.
• Ensure that all work is achieved within established deadlines.
• 14. Take responsibility on a daily basis for filing, scanning and archiving within own area of the department.
