Due to a promotion, we are currently exclusively working with an engineering organisation based in Derby to recruit a Management Accountant into their team, reporting into the head of finance you will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and variance analysis and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation who are going from strength to strength.
Applicants will need to have experience of the production of Management Accounts and ideally be from a engineering background as experience of dealing with WIP would be an advantage. Applicants will ideally be AAT qualified and looking to pursue a CIMA qualification.
Responsibilities Include
• Prepare Monthly Management Accounts
• Accruals & Prepayments
• Journals
• Prepare Budgets
• Cashflow & Forecasts
• Variance analysis
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• VAT Returns
