Job Description
My client is an established but growing business within the construction sector. They partner with key organisations to deliver large scale construction projects.
As part of their continued development they require an experienced management accountant to join the team and take on a broad, important role within the team. The role is perfect for someone with strong management accounting skills who would like to develop their management skills and commercial business involvement.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
• Producing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, monthly management accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries, together with balance sheet analysis.
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
• Inter-company balances, accounts, accruals & prepayments.
• Assisting with statutory accounts, fixed assets and depreciation.
• Debtor management. Purchase ledger and nominal management.
• VAT Returns.
• CIS deductions, and submission returns.
• Supervising 2 accountancy staff.
The role requires an experienced accountant who can independently execute this role, industry knowledge and awareness of CIS liabilities will be advantageous but not essential. The role is a permanent, office based role, study support is available for those that require it.
