They perform an integral role in the development of Australian infrastructure across mining and resources, transport and power markets.About the role Responsible for preparing management reporting for the company in a correct and timely manner in accordance with company requirements and guidelines. In addition, is responsible for ensuring assigned projects are completed in a timely manner.About you
Qualified (Ca/CPA) with experience in management accounting
Proven Business Partnering Skills to influence decision-making across departments
Excellent analytical ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Advance Excel Skills
Ability to work Monday to Thursday - Full time hours. 8.30 am start
Willing to undergo a medical for this position
Key Responsibilities
Management Reporting - Budget and Control
Business Analysis including P&L, Cashflow, Operating Profit
Cost Accounting including cost calculation (overhead% and hourly rate)
Cost Center review and maintenance
Plant Control - Inventory, Capital Investment
Assist in preparing monthly reporting package for head office in Germany
EOM G/L Reconciliations and other month-end duties
Internal Control Systems - Monthly self-audits and assessment per Group Directive V-GD-0000+
Communicating, preparation analysis and upload of budget according to the Voith timetable
Identify areas and opportunities where Finance team can improve processes and value add through automation
Team Development including Skill and Knowledge transfer
Support Accounting Trainees in their growth and learning
Ensure Finance Team is cross trained in all functions
