This is an exciting opportunity to act as a manager in charge and join our Banking Prudential Risk team, which falls under our external audit Financial Services team based in Sydney. Our team is growing due to the purposeful and impactful outcomes we deliver to our clients - that’s why we need you!

What will your typical day look like?

In this specialised role, you will be responsible for managing part of the banking 310 opinion, which is part of an external audit. Additionally, you will undertake other work for clients in banking, particularly assurance services.

The manager is responsible for the delivery of engagements for a range of clients while providing coaching and training to juniors. Your leadership skills set team direction and add value to our clients by demonstrating your expertise on accounting/auditing principles, practices, and standards. There is no doubt this role will enhance your career through continuous exposure on complex accounting issues and business environments. You will be actively involved in innovation and development, promoting efficient operations, and work with directors and partners on applying our methodology.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

5 years’ experience in external audit
Have Banking Prudential Risk auditing and advisory experience
Management experience in Banking APS310 audit and internal audit engagements
Financial Services audit industry exposure
Banking industry experience in risk, assurance and advisory engagements
Possess a CA qualification (or equivalent)
Possess a bachelor’s degree or above in accounting/commerce or a related field
Professional services experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferable)
Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and multitasking skills
