The Incumbent Will Be
• Responsible for generating new leads for contracting renewable energy capacity under long term PPAs with Commercial and Industrial consumers across the country.
• Should be well versed with the regulatory framework related to supply of renewable energy under open access at the State and Central level.
• Should be able to identify target states and customers based on legislative and regulatory aspects and accordingly make recommendations for new project development.
• Should have excellent networking skills and be able to conduct technical discussions with the client side technical team.
• Should understand client specific requirements and be able to customize the product offerings within the mandate.
• Should understand competitor strategy, product/service offerings and key differentiators. Gather market insights and make suitable adjustment to own product offerings.
• Should be willing to travel.

Education/Experience Requirements
• University degree in Engineering with emphasis on Electrical or Mechanical or Power Management from a recognized university.
• Second degree in Business Administration is preferred.
• 8-12 years of experience in power sector of which minimum 2-4 years should be in a similar position/ responsibilities preferably in a similar industry (power trading companies, renewable energy developers, renewable EPC companies, renewable energy consulting) with exposure to open access transactions.
