In the role of Database Services Manager, you will join the Managed Infrastructure Services team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
In this Database Services Manager role, you will
Drive the strategic centralisation of NABs database estate towards a modern DBMS platform, with PostgreSQL as the target state
Bring proven experience in Database DevOps practices and techniques with a talent for automation
Lead Database platform design as we modernise and centralise the disparate database instances, across multiple DBMS engines
Lead the self-managed to centralised platform database migration strategy, leveraging automation and migration DevOps / scripts to minimise Asset Owner interaction, effort and change cost
Cultivate a team culture of innovation with customer experience at its core
Confident in Executive forums and in exercising business acumen
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
Database DevOps techniques and automation experience
Prior experience with database replication technology strongly preferred
Demonstrable database release using schema migrations scripts / tools
Database IaaS and PaaS deployments
Expert cloud engineering in combination with infrastructure and configuration as code
Exceptional and proven people leadership
