Finance India Manager_Global Investment Bank_CA_15 Years_Bangalore
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- CA qualified with 15 years in a financial accounting role, (strong public accounting background with financial industry experience)
- Minimum 10 Years of PQE in BFSI/Investment Bank. CPA or CA qualification is a must
- Very strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP, Indian GAAP and IFRS)
- Excellent in Legal and compliance expertise and Partner with tax department and Auditors
- Global stakeholder management expertise is very important, hence communication, articulation is critical
- Reporting to Asia Controller and IC to start with and over a period of time will have team to lead
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Solid analytical skills and judgment ; strong attention to detail
Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end closing, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with tax department and advisors in connection with various tax filings
- Work with legal and compliance departments and advisors in connection with regulatory filings
- Coordinate with auditors for timely closing of statutory and tax audits
- Transfer pricing reviews and issues
- Work closely with various departments in various jurisdictions in relation to finance and accounting related matters
- Assist in various ad-hoc management queries and projects e.g. impact of new accounting standards, transactions and new business
- Work with Asia Controller to provide management and leadership to a team of analysts
- Coach and mentor junior team members
