The Manager, Financial Counseling is responsible for the daily operation, supervision and coordination of activities in Financial Counseling for assigned staff. This role continually evaluates workflows and systems for optimal performance and patient centric improvement while effectively communicating with clinic and department management. Guides and mentors new/existing staff with daily work and proper handling of accounts. This role ensures the high quality and excellent service of Financial Counselors in patient contact and contact with outside third-party payers and insurers.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's in Business, Healthcare, or related field
LICENSES:
Must possess one of the following
Cert Healthcare Access Assoc
Access Manager
Cert Healthcare Financial Prof
Certified Patient Account Rep
Certified Revenue Cycle Rep
