The Manager, Financial Reporting, Risk, and Contract Management is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of financial reporting, risk management, and contract administration. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, supports strategic decision-making, and safeguards the organization’s assets, reputation, and privacy. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Manager ensures that reporting practices and financial insights support organizational goals and operational priorities.

What will you be doing?

Lead the creation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with departmental teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and resource planning.
Develop and maintain operational performance dashboards that include KPIs such as occupancy, resident satisfaction, and care metrics to support data-driven decisions.
Build and refine financial models for strategic planning, scenario analysis, and organizational forecasting.
Identify and implement automation and process improvements across budgeting, reporting, and other finance functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with senior and clinical leadership to provide analytical insights, guide financial strategies, and support improved operational and fiscal outcomes.
Oversee the monitoring and reporting of key organizational KPIs.
Deliver timely, in-depth financial and operational analyses to support planning and performance monitoring, including variance analysis.
Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of internal and external reports in compliance with regulatory standards and reporting requirements.
Support senior leadership by preparing business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives.
Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.
Prepare documentation and support external audit processes; implement improvements to reporting practices as needed.
Lead, mentor, and develop the reporting and analysis team.
Oversee contract execution and procurement processes in collaboration with legal, procurement, and operational departments.
Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for strategy discussions.
Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to operations, finance, compliance, and resident care.
Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on incidents and risk mitigation activities.
Develop and enforce privacy policies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Respond to privacy breaches, lead mitigation efforts, and implement preventive measures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of privacy laws and ensure organizational practices remain compliant.
Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Must Haves:

7+ years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and management, ideally within healthcare or long-term care. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA designation preferred).
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI platforms).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience working with financial and operational software systems.
Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning is an asset.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
