How you will make an impact:

Champion equity, diversity, and belonging. You will stay ahead of best practices in equity, diversity, belonging and organizational development. Administer the collective agreement. You will coach leaders to ensure compliance with the Collective Agreement, address grievances, and facilitate investigations or mediations to restore team harmony. You can foster working relationships and effectively navigate information sharing. You will ensure our hiring, performance management, communication, and other employee policies adhere to union procedures.
Contribute to strategy. You will actively participate in organizational initiatives and committees, driving the success of the Strategic Plan. You will actively participate in and lead HR and People projects that align with our values, promote our culture of equality and belonging, and nurture a welcoming and positive work environment. You will lead process modernization and oversee HRIS updates, including implementing the ADP Recruitment Portal.
Employee relations and engagement. You will be a trusted advisor to employees and managers to foster a workplace with highly engaged and satisfied teams. You will work with managers to ensure performance evaluation processes are fair, consistent, and aligned with the collective agreement and the goals of our organization. You will develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, leveraging data from engagement surveys, exit interviews and turnover reports.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment. You will partner with leadership to develop bias-free strategies that attract full-time, contract, casual, and student candidates dedicated to our mission. You will welcome new team members and set them up for success from day one. You will engage new employees with the YouthLink approach with comprehensive and thoughtful onboarding and orientation.
