About Our Client
Our client is a multinational company working in the renewable energy space. They are looking to hire a Legal-Manager who reports to the Head of Legal based out of Bangalore
Job Description
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating various contracts with customers including for supply, technical support service and operation and maintenance of wind turbines and Battery Based Energy Storage Solutions (BESS).
• Handle other related agreements such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Corporate Guarantees, Escrow Agreement, Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit etc.
• Work closely with sales team and coordinate with various internal stakeholders including Supply Chain, Production Development & Design, Construction and O&M;
• Support Supply chain team for contracts with various vendors by developing standard formats for procurement of material and services;
• Support on regulatory matters by keeping a tab on existing and new policies, (technical) guidelines or tariff orders announced for the industry, filing of petitions where required, communicating with various authorities like, regulatory commissions, ministries at the state and federal level, Central Electrical Authority, secretaries, state nodal agencies.
• Support in litigation and other legal proceedings like mediation, conciliation, arbitration or court proceedings.
• Provide legal support to ensure compliance at offices, manufacturing plants and project sites.
The Successful Applicant
You should be an LLB graduate with minimum seven years of experience ideally in the energy, infrastructure and renewable space. You should have good communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
