Job Description
As the Manager, Legal Services within the RTA's Financial Assurance Services division, you will lead a high-performing multidisciplinary Legal team and champion best practice legal service delivery. In this key leadership role, you will provide expert, solutions focused advice across a broad range of legal, compliance and legislative matters. You will also play a critical role in supporting the RTA's enforcement activities, including providing advice and leading litigation to support prosecutions and other enforcement activities.
To be successful you will need:
Proven leadership experience within a legal services environment, with the ability to guide, coach and empower a team of legal professionals
Strong expertise in contract management, including the oversight and negotiation of complex commercial and IT agreements
Well-developed skills in statutory interpretation and the practical application of legislation in a regulatory context
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a collaborative approach to building effective working relationships
A track record of leading and managing complex legal matters, providing strategic insight and high-quality advice.
