Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer-L3 (8 Years) to design, implement, monitor, and manage the local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) of our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure, resolving network issues, and ensuring secure and efficient data communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Experience with firewalls(FortiGate and Meraki), VPNs, IDS/IPS, and monitoring tools
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)
• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Configure and install network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)
• Monitor network performance and integrity
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages
• Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades
• Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Ensure network security and compliance with policies
• Document network configurations, processes, and services.
• Support disaster recovery and backup strategies
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and monitoring tools
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, or similar hardware
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Apply security patches and updates to network equipment.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+)
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Desired Profile:
• A BE / B-Tech / B.Sc. Graduate
• Experience with firewalls VPNs, IDS/IPS, LAN, WLAN, WAN
• Excellent communication skills
