The Talent Systems Human Resources department is distributed across our centers of excellence in each region. • To bring diverse representation, opinions & opportunities from across the brands to be able to share ideas, feedback and plan initiatives.
• To act as a sounding board for any potential changes and new ideas from across the business and be able to represent our employees’ opinions and provide feedback.

Job purpose

The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources regionally in India, and contributes to areas of expertise globally.

Duties and Responsibilities

Business partner
• Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees in India
• Develop and drive best practices to promote a positive and collaborative HR experience
• Provide counsel and guidance to employees as appropriate; address issues with VP of Human Resources when needed
• Drive and facilitate global Talent Systems HR initiatives at a regional level

Employee Lifecycle
• Manage the Fresher Program with the General Manager and Head of Technology inclusive of all learning and development/training, operations, and recruiting efforts associated with the program.
• Manage the Talent Acquisition function including strategy, systems and management of the Sr TAS in India.
• Manage new hire process and ensure a smooth onboarding
• Conduct new hire orientation for India hires
• Liaise with accounting to process new hires, pay changes, and terminations
• Process terminations in compliance with local guidelines

Operations
• Manage HR events, travel and accommodations in India
• Partner with General Manager in India

Culture
• Continuously identify and develop opportunities to increase and maintain employee engagement
• Develop ways to integrate India team into larger company culture
• Plan regional company events and culture initiatives
• Model and reinforce our company values
• Be a brand and culture ambassador for Talent Systems
• Drive culture club initiatives globally

HR policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all India employment laws and guidelines
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes/procedures and increase efficiencies
• Maintain and update the India employee handbook and employee documents to stay current with new employment laws and address any new company policies

Talent management
• Assist with annual compensation review and org planning

Systems
• Maintain India employees in HR systems
• Manage Indian employees user experience of all HR systems including participating in implementation and employee training of new systems Misc
• HR projects as assigned
• HR reporting as needed

Qualification & Attributes
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
• Relevant certifications or credentials associated with regional HR compliance and management
• Ability to notice and retain details, think on your feet, problem-solve, and articulate actionable items based on customer needs
• Excellent English communication, verbal and written
• Ability to work well with regional stakeholders and the global HR team in a collaborative nature
• Ability to exercise good judgment and maturity at all times
• Excellent responsiveness to internal customers (employees and managers)
• Ambition, eagerness and the will to learn and improve upon your own skills
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Displays professionalism with customers and colleagues in high-pressure situations
• BA/BS degree preferred
