About The Role
The Manager - Operations Services - provides strategic leadership on the development of regional operating standards by ensuring that the integrity and optimisation of the standard processes, data and systems are maintained. Manages execution support against key operational requirements, Engineering and Asset Reliability and first level maintenance support for the region. Also manages the provision of support compliance to Field Operations, Operations Training, and driving Operational Discipline through the region.
What you will be doing
Key Accountabilities:
• Develops an appropriate governance framework for the region in support of ensuring a robust operating discipline.
• Coordinates and owns strategy and long term sustainable plan for achievement of consistent operating standards across the region.
• Aligns the capital programme's approach with the regions strategy, improves the delivery of programme benefits, develops a suite of engineering solutions which can be tailored in accordance with local needs, and manage the programme life cycle.
• Leads regional asset management setting maintenance strategies, ensuring compliance to maintenance strategies for all assets, and Fixed Asset Register Maintenance.
• Leads Capital management and optimisation project delivery. Leads the delivery of Orica's operational and technical training as developed by OC.
• Ensures Operational Training Compliance to plan.
• Represents the region in Global Operations Excellence.
What you will bring
BAND E PEOPLE LEADER
• Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
• Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
• Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
• Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
• Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
BAND E TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
• Minimum 7 years experience post professional qualification.
• Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
• Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
• Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
Role dependent - technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.)
