The Company & The Role
Join this progressive and dynamic firm in Victoria, providing audit solutions for a variety of client industries in Victoria. This is an audit specialised firm focusing on internal and external audit engagements.
They are now looking for a Manager or Senior Manager, External Audit to join the team. They are offering fantastic flexibility and for someone to commute to the office only 1 day per week if desired. This role has a focus on government and NFP clients, so if you have experience with this, that would be a great advantage.
The Duties
Responsible for managing, directing and monitoring teams on multiple engagements
Plan, execute and complete external audits with a focus on the government sector
Understand and manage clients’ risk on audits
Ensure compliance with clients and audit standards
Communicate audit requirements and findings
Be responsible for a team of external auditors
The Applicant
5+ years’ External Audit experience locally in Australia
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields
CA/CPA qualification in place
Experience with Government audits is highly regarded, at a minimum experience with large non-for-profit organisations is a must
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills
