Job Description
Synopsis of the role:
Managing entire Payroll function, Coordination with Payroll Service Provider, Finalization and timely processing of Salary , Manage and comply with regulatory reporting i.e. TDS,PF, PT… and Group reporting’s pertaining to payroll etc.
What you’ll do
Managing Payroll function and ensure that HR policies are adhered to.
Coordinating with Payroll service provider for Salary Workings, ensuring the correctness and finalization of the same.
Calculation of employee paychecks, withholding Tax, and other PF, PT, Recovery deduction.
Preparation of Bank payout file of employee Salary and ensuring timely payment before due date.
Holding salary of resigned employees and release the same on F&F
Calculation of Gratuity, leave encashment, Arrears, Notice recoveries in F&F.
To provide data to actuary for annual Valuation of Gratuity and Leave Encashment Report.
To coordinate and facilitate the audit for Payroll section
Maintaining MTM Payroll records and reconciliation.
Calculation of Statutory deduction of TDS, PF, PT, MLWF etc. and ensuring timely payment to Govt.
Ensuring timely compliances in filing payroll related returns
Other Employees Related workings and coordination with respective service providers. E.g. Medical Insurance, Food Coupons etc.
Addition and Deletion of employees for Provident fund compliance and coordinate with Consultant for returns fillings etc.
Maintaining repository of payroll records and Tax related records.
Implement the best practices around payroll.
Manage and comply with regulatory reporting, group reporting’s pertaining to payroll.
Liaise with our internal/external stakeholders etc.
He/she follows Procedures and adequate policies and guidelines in place, initiates update whenever required and actively seeks for improvements.
What experience you need
Candidate must have Master’s degree or a bachelor's degree in commerce or other fields related to accounting
Prior working experience of 5-7 years in Payroll Processing.
Prior working experience for day to day coordination with payroll service provider
Knowledge of TDS on Salary, PF, PT, Gratuity, MLWF etc. is a must
Good Understanding of payroll processes and ability to manage timely payments with accuracy and completeness.
