Aligned with Global Finance’s strategic priorities and the Bank’s enterprise-wide transformation, the Manager, Program Management is responsible for overseeing governance, strategy, and execution of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) transformation program, including the implementation of Anaplan across the organization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role contributes to the success of Global Finance in Canada by ensuring individual goals, plans, and initiatives are delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. All activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and established procedures. Responsibilities align with the key program management pillars as follows:


Program Governance & Strategy

Champion a customer-focused culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader Bank systems and knowledge.

Support the definition and maintenance of the overall program plan and timeline to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Prepare and contribute to program materials for leadership and governance forums, promoting clarity and stakeholder alignment.


Documentation

Assist in developing and maintaining reporting dashboards to track project performance, risks, dependencies, decision logs, capacity, resource utilization, and budget variances.

Summarize progress, issues, and key decisions for leadership while supporting risk identification, tracking, and mitigation across workstreams.

Organize and maintain program documentation to ensure accessibility and compliance.


Delivery Management

Coordinate tasks across multiple releases, monitor dependencies, manage scope changes, and validate deliverables for quality assurance.

Lead coordination and dependency tracking for Global Finance Technology workstreams to ensure timely execution and integration.

Contribute to defining the overall testing approach. Maintain test plans for each release, ensure alignment with program objectives, and monitor testing progress and status reporting.


Operational Support

Arrange and manage calendars for governance and delivery sessions.

Organize training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build team capability.

Support resource allocation, onboarding of new hires, and orientation programs for smooth integration.

Drive continuous process improvements in program reporting and delivery of key materials for stakeholders throughout implementation.


Other

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:


University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Proven experience managing projects through the full SDLC lifecycle with strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and project reporting best practices.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and resolve issues effectively.
Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools and dashboards. (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Minimum 3+ years of experience managing transformation programs or enterprise system implementations
Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent Agile credentials
Banking and/or Finance industry experience considered an asset
