Job Description
• Building & leading a capable DevOps Organization in an international environment
• Collaboration in the design and further development of the Group-wide workflow and integration platform (ServiceNow)
• Modelling and implementation of necessary extensions to the existing data and system architecture in the ServiceNow Domain
• Market observation and review of new methods, systems, projects and suppliers with regard to the ServiceNow solution domain
• Defining and implementing metrics and KPIs for the DevOps team
• Design and oversee automated build and deployment processes.
• Manage ServiceNow infrastructure
• Collaborate with architecture teams to meet requirements
• Implement monitoring and optimize system performance.
• Lead incident response efforts and keep documentation up to date.
• Create plans for DevOps initiatives and assess new technologies
• Lead and mentor the DevOps team
• Develop budgets and manage costs for DevOps projects
• Facilitate collaboration between team members and German counterparts, emphasizing a customer-centric approach to address diverse requirements.
• Take a lead role in strategic planning, resource allocation, and professional development within the team.What are we looking for? (Experience/Qualifications/Skillsets/Must-haves)
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer science/engineering or a comparable relevant qualification.
• Experience
• Proven skills and at least 12+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM implementation and maintenance with reference to IT governance, ServiceNow Development and IT Service management.
• Min. 2 years’ experience in building, managing & leading team.
• Technical Skills
• Skills proven by at least the following certifications. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certified Implementation Specialist IT Service Management
• Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting (Glide JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB.
• Skills and strong experience with integrations and Integration Hub.
• Strong understanding of and experience in ServiceNow application scopes.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal / Employee Center, ATF, MID Server, integrating ServiceNow with external systems, etc.
• Strong understanding of and experience in ServiceNow Now Create
• Strong understanding of and experience in ServiceNow deployment process and technology (both Update Sets and CI/CD)
