Overview:
At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

As a member of the Tax Value Creation team, you will work closely with our senior leaders across Tax and Advisory to bring transformative ideas to our clients' most burning problems, using tax as a lever to create value within their respective businesses. You will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of cutting-edge technical and high priority strategic initiatives that will provide you with consistent challenge and growth opportunities.

An ideal candidate for this role will be open minded and pursuing an ever-evolving, multi-faceted career, driven by a growth mindset. You will be joining a high-performing, collaborative team that will provide mentorship and guidance to help you become not only a great tax professional, but a well-rounded business leader.
What you will do:
Work closely with other team members on a range of transformative Canadian and international tax advisory projects (including Pillar Two related), and provide support in research, development, implementation, project strategy and other tax initiatives for specific clients.
Assist in developing and implementing innovative tax solutions to complex business issues, including business development.
Actively participate in strategic growth initiatives across the Tax practice.
Proactively monitor and provide updates on global tax developments.
Build relationships with senior leaders across the Canadian and global organization.
What you bring to this role:
4+ year of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm.
Completion (or near completion) of CPA designation or LLB.
Completion, near completion, or willingness to enroll in the In-Depth Tax program or Masters of Tax program.
Strong technical tax skills, including research, and keen interest in the evolving global tax landscape.
Experience in international corporate tax is an asset.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to clearly explain complex tax and business issues to clients and fellow team members.
Collaborative and confident approach to communication and ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external individuals and teams.
Excellent client service skills, with the ability to understand the clients' business and tax needs, and adapt accordingly.
Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth and challenge.
