What you'll be doing:
As Treasury Assistant Manager plays a critical role in supporting the overall treasury function, with a focus on optimizing liquidity, managing financial risks, and enhancing treasury operations. This position involves overseeing daily cash management activities, contributing to cash forecasting and analysis, assisting with banking relationships, and supporting debt and investment management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a solid understanding of corporate finance and treasury principles. This role offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills and contribute to strategic treasury initiatives. Line management of at least 2 FTE.
This role will report into the Group Treasurer and key responsibilities are:
Cash and liquidity management
Oversee and direct the daily monitoring and management of cash balances across all US bank accounts, ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient fund utilization.
Review and approve daily cash movements, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and intercompany transfers.
Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs while strategically optimizing the investment of excess cash.
Actively manage the Supply Chain Finance program to optimize short-term working capital.
Cash forecasting
Lead the short-term cash forecasting process, collaborating with various agencies to gather inputs and refine projections
Analyze variances between actual and forecasted cash flows and identify root causes and propose strategic recommendations
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize cash utilization and minimize borrowing costs.
