Job Description for Cloud Platform Engineer/Architect
- Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management:
- setup. and develop and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Architect and implement infrastructure solutions that are highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable.
• Manage VM instances, cloud run and load balancer and KMS stuff , VPC and Firewall and other network related stuff. GKE , terraform
- Kubernetes Administration:
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- DevOps Practices:
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Ensure efficient and effective collaboration between development, operations, and security teams.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Utilize Terraform,GoCD, Ansible, or similar tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Maintain and update IaC scripts to ensure infrastructure consistency and reproducibility.
- Monitoring and Incident Management:
- Set up and configure monitoring tools to track infrastructure health and performance.
- Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
