About the opportunity
The Cloud Architect will be the go-to Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Transformation programs and engagements, including Cloud Infrastructure lift & shift, and cloud-based application modernization through re-platforming, re-architecting, and rebuilding. This role requires a highly dedicated individual who will be significantly involved in Delivery engagements and will also contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop end-to-end cloud solutions for clients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide estimations, project plans, and resource requirements, working closely with Project Managers.
Lead technical presentations to clients, ensuring clarity and impact of the proposed solutions.
Serve as a Trusted Advisor to clients, driving Cloud Architecture and related solutions.
Create Cloud Solution Architecture, Migration/Development Roadmaps, and development frameworks/guidance.
Lead and guide Technical Leads, Engineers, and Developers according to the architecture and conduct technical reviews.
Provide deep technical expertise in complex technical areas as required.
To qualify for the role, you must have
12-15 years of experience with at least 5 years as a Cloud Architect in various Cloud Transformation projects.
Proven track record of driving Cloud transformation programs with a strong perspective on Cloud-based modernizations, including Lift & Shift, re-platforming, and re-architecture.
Expertise in at least one Cloud Platform (Azure, AWS, GCP); Cloud Solution Architect certification in one of these platforms is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the GCC framework from GovTech in Singapore, with experience in at least 2 GCC projects focused on Lift & Shift or Application modernization.
Strong understanding of Cloud Security, Cloud Managed Services frameworks, tools, and solutions.
Hands-on experience in establishing Cloud DevOps pipelines.
Experience with different Integration platforms and knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and API-based integrations, especially in the context of Cloud integrations.
