Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $80,000–$110,000 Base + Commission (Top Earners $150K–$200K+)
Schedule: Mostly Remote | Field Travel | Onsite Meetings as Needed
Compensation: Monthly Car Allowance
We’re partnering with a long-established commercial HVAC and mechanical solutions leader. This organization delivers full-service HVAC solutions—from construction and retrofit projects to controls, automation, and mission-critical commercial systems. This role is built for a high-producing Account Executive who wants big runway, a strong brand behind them, and a book of business they can immediately grow. If you know how to build a pipeline, read blueprints, walk job sites, and close complex commercial HVAC deals, you will thrive here. This is a growth seat—not a replacement—and leadership is ready to move fast for someone who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle across commercial service contracts, retrofit projects, replacements, and construction opportunities.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
• Conduct client visits, site assessments, surveys, and scope reviews to diagnose HVAC needs.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates for service agreements and projects.
• Partner daily with internal engineering, estimating, project management, and service teams to confirm feasibility, pricing, and technical accuracy.
• Negotiate contract terms, schedules, and pricing to close profitable work.
• Maintain pipeline transparency through activity tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Stay ahead of HVAC innovations, energy efficiency strategies, controls/automation, and building code requirements.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of success in commercial HVAC sales, estimating, or engineering.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong deal-making, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A self-starter who takes ownership — making calls, building leads, and driving activity without needing micromanagement.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.
• Open to candidates from related industries (fire protection, mechanical, industrial, etc.).
• A track record that shows consistency—even if the résumé has sales-related movement, the reasons must make sense.
• A true hunter mentality with the drive to close big deals and build an independent territory.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Experience with AutoCAD or estimating tools is a plus.
• Degree preferred but not required; performance matters more than credentials.
