Bachelor Degree in Engineering is required
Minimum of two years of manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing setting is required
Must have experience working on the production floor with various types of manufacturing equipment
Must possess the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams/schematics
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Must possess strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills
Must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to succeed with little supervision
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional team

Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of manufacturing equipment and product lines, lead projects to improve results, implement Lean initiatives, and more
Develops effective manufacturing processes by evaluating product requirements and designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment to ensure desired results
Apply industry knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, and tooling, and materials and collaborate with production associates
Identify and resolve process operating problems, investigate equipment failures, draft follow-up action reports, and share technical assistance with workers on the floor
Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues during manufacturing process
Coordinate with operations and management personnel to develop a shared vision for the completion of daily tasks and then report on those activities
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering staff as well as outside contractors to improve equipment care, services, repairs, and work practice
Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow while optimizing space and equipment layout
Identify new and creative solutions to resolve complex issues during the manufacturing process
Handle additional duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager
