Responsibilities
The Logistics Engineer role involves managing yard parts, mobile logistics carts, and AGVs, with a 50/50 split between office and fieldwork
Manage Yard Parts and Mobile Logistics Carts: Oversee the organization, maintenance, and efficiency of yard parts and logistics carts
Design and Implement AGVs: Develop and implement automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to improve logistics processes
Field and Office Work Balance: Split time between fieldwork and desk tasks to address both hands-on and analytical needs
Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with 15-20 team members and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Analyze and Solve Problems: Use strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve logistical and operational issues
Design and Drafting: Utilize CREO/SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD to create and modify designs for logistics solutions
Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Oversee material requirements, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
Apply 6 Sigma Principles: Implement and adhere to Six Sigma project management principles to enhance process efficiency

JOB SUMMARY FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience (logistics, industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain engineering experience)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:
• Design experience, CREO/SOLIDWORKS Experience, AutoCAD or other similar electronic drafting experience is required.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• A background in Designing, Manufacturing, Operations, Inventory Management, Material Requirements and/or Supply Chain/Logistics is highly desired
