In the role of Manufacturing and Engineering Application IT Specialist you'll play a pivotal part in implementing and maintaining applicative components and middleware for business applications, primarily focusing on Manufacturing and Engineering software. You'll have the opportunity to work with software products from vendors like Microsoft, PTC, Dassault, IBM and IGE+XAO, as well as internally developed solutions. This position contributes to our vision by:
Application Implementation:
o Installs and configures software components for Business applications relying on databases and other technical middleware, and client-side counterpart. Handles multiple (non-production and production) application environments.
o Help in specifying and defining the proper infrastructure requirements for server-based applications in new implementations.
Technical Support:
o Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to installation/operation and offer timely solutions to ensure the optimal performance.
o Manages changes and upgrades (major/minor) on the environments based on requirements and updates documentation and repositories, accordingly, following change management procedures.
