Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility for planning, coordination and implementation of manufacturing areas production procedures and practices
Coordinates with Logistics Manager, production requirements including calculating inputs and outputs needs
Ensures the overall high-quality production and minimal consumer complaints
Directly monitors quality standards in concert with Quality Assurance Manager
Creates and maintains a safe environment, by setting standards and by making available appropriate safety equipment as necessary
Directs staff, organizes and assigns maintenance and production workers, and is responsible for production
Takes staffing, developmental, remedial and counseling actions in concert with other dept
Managers to ensure adequately trained personnel exist to meet production goals
Maintains personnel records including pay and benefit reviews
Directly responsible for production
