We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to lead and shape our culture with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement at our Canning Vale Bakery. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and oversee all activities related to the timely and safe manufacture, supply, and distribution of our products, adhering to GWF policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the Production, Warehouse, and Distribution teams, while interacting with all other functions across the site and region
Uphold food safety, legality, and quality standards, including reporting food safety incidents and maintaining product integrity
Enhance safety capabilities and work towards eliminating Threat to Life risks
Manage production costs, including labour, materials, and manufacturing overheads
Exhibit inclusive and constructive leadership to cultivate a culture where employees take ownership and drive business goals
Effectively manage change and create an environment that embraces it
Embody Tip Top values and behaviours to inspire, engage, and drive a high-performance culture
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
Holds a tertiary qualification in Manufacturing or a related discipline (desirable)
Has a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in managing manufacturing activities in an FMCG environment (food industry experience is highly regarded)
Previous experience developing leadership capability
Demonstrates a proven track record in fostering a high safety and quality culture
Shows effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change, and process improvement
Possesses a strong understanding of HACCP & GMP principles
Has excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Can build professional relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
