Job Description
• Supervise operations as per plan to deliver products/components & services, Monitoring of adherence to e.g. shopfloor standards,Levelling plan, SFMC etc to achieve targeted shopfloor performance with focus on SQCD. Monitor improvement of deviation management and follow-up sustainable corrective measures.
• Conduct checks to confirm manufacturing and material handling processes conform to defined process standards i.e. drawings, PDS, SPC, PFEP, etc. Organise documentation of manufacturing process and product quality as part of mandated evidence ofconformance to standards and product traceability.
• Organise resources i.e., Man, Machine, Material, Tools, Gauges, etc, to meet planned Operational KPI Track and analyse efficiency of planned resources e.g. Associate, T&T efficiency, Productivity, Tool life, for continuous improvement.
• Motivate and develop associates to identify opportunities for improvement and actively drive continuous improvement. Supervise & adapt deployment of change initiatives to bring transformational improvements to VS performance. E.g. Agile, BPS, I4.0, Labour model changes, Speed Week etc.
• Plan training and development of new and existing associates to ensure appropriate skilled person are deployed as per skill matrix.Evaluate performance for associates (PW, T&T ) as per defined interval to facilitate performance based operation system.Receive grievances from associates, observe mutual trust, respect, good faith and fairness in dealing with them. Resolve / report the same to respective authorities.
• Obtain competencies in the functional area based on present and future trends as per the business requirements.
Skills / Competencies:
• Competent knowledge of product and component function / construction / drawings / BOM / PDS.
• Advance knowledge in Production Management, Manufacturing processes & measurement Technique.
• Advanced knowledge of operations management, standing orders, Bosch Code of business conduct and related statutes.
• Advanced knowledge in Work Safety, Environment & Health practices and regulations.
• Advanced knowledge in Product Liability & Quality Management as well as problem solving and QC tools
• Basic knowledge in Lean Management & BPS Elements
• Basic knowledge in Product costing
• Advanced skill in self-organizing, effective communication, conflict management.
• Advanced skill in operating CNC machine, Assembly MAE controls, Testing benches & Special Process.
• Competent in operating & setting Instrument, measurement & Test equipment.
• Basic skill in handling vision systems, Scanners.,Advanced IT tools: SAP, MES, MAS , MS office.,Advance skill in trouble shooting minor interruptions.
• Competent in People management
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering in Mechanical, Automotive, Electronics or Industrial engineering
4-6 years in Auto component / Auto ancillary manufacturing industry
4+ years of experience in managing unionized/non-unionized/temporary workforce
