Job Description
Role: Manufacturing Operator
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Available Shifts:
Afternoon Shift (3): Monday to Friday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (8-hour shift)
Night Shift (2): Monday to Friday 10:00pm - 6:00 am (8-hour shift)
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to established procedures
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment
Document production activities accurately and in real-time
Assist in the preparation and implementation of manufacturing schedules
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department
Experience/Qualifications:
Past production/manufacturing background. Experience in a GMP environment such as food, Pharmaceuticals or Chemicals is essential.
Have a good understanding of Health & Safety practices and a commitment to safety
At least 3 years manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical / animal health, food or related industry is preferred but not required
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Good Mathematical skills
Mechanical aptitude
