Responsibilities
Directly support the Director of Continuous Improvement and the Project Manager, collaborating with various departments as needed
The primary focus is to organize the resources, manage time effectively, and coordinate personnel to complete assigned projects
The role includes assisting in in the development and maintenance of document control systems (for example – drawing submittal/approval tracking, Learning Management System (LMS), Quality Management System (QMS) Documents, problem solving training content)
Assist the Project Manager in managing project tasks, budgets, and schedules, including estimating and forecasting budgets, allocating resources, and monitoring expenses
Monitor project progress and compile input for project status reports
Coordinate project timelines and schedules, including organizing stakeholder meetings
Communicate effectively with various departments, stakeholders, and project participants to ensure everyone is informed and aligned
Proactively communicate and follow up with all parties involved throughout the project lifecycle, displaying professionalism and courtesy in every interaction
Keep customers informed about project timelines and completion dates through email and phone communications
Facilitate Kaizen meetings and team projects to drive improvement initiatives across all departments
Assist in implementing the Local Production Plan (LPP) strategy over the next 3+ years
Support training efforts in problem-solving techniques to enhance workforce capabilities
Analyze risks and opportunities within projects and collaborate with the Project Manager to identify and remove roadblocks
Identify logistical and technical issues promptly and work with relevant parties to resolve them efficiently
Manage project management documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
Perform document management tasks to support the QMS system
Deliver and organize necessary documentation from project initiation to completion
Support other departments, i.e Human Resources, Application Engineering and Engineering as needed

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

PRIMARY DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
