Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role OR relevant education (Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Statistics, or other similar discipline)
Minimum intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft office suite
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Conducting FMEA (failure mode and effects analysis) processes
Ideally the right candidate will come from a manufacturing quality background or a related engineering discipline
This individual must be comfortable calibrating tools, testing equipment, and conducting line audits
The right person will be or be able to become familiar with processes such as FMEA (failure mode and effects analysis), kaizen and lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and other manufacturing related quality control processes
This person will be responsible for overseeing two inspectors and should be comfortable communicating feedback on a regular basis
