Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Talent Acquisition Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to meet the unique hiring needs of production units, plants, and operational roles.
About the Role:
• This position requires an in-depth understanding of manufacturing roles, including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
• You will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end recruitment strategies specifically tailored to manufacturing roles.
• Collaborate with plant managers and department heads to forecast hiring needs and create talent pipelines for critical roles.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for manufacturing roles, including shop-floor employees, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and plant managers.
• Sourcer candidates through multiple channels, including job portals, social media, industry-specific networks, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
• Build strong relationships with technical institutes, vocational training centers, and local communities to attract skilled talent.
• Manage candidate engagement through the recruitment lifecycle to ensure a positive experience and strengthen the employer brand.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of manufacturing roles and industry-specific hiring requirements.
• Proficiency in sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, and community outreach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements related to contract and blue-collar hiring.
• Ability to manage bulk hiring and high-volume recruitment efficiently.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 4-8 years of experience in talent acquisition, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in hiring for production plants, technical roles, and blue-collar positions.
• Knowledge of recruitment tools, sourcing platforms, and local labour market dynamics.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants for recruitment drives.
