Job Description
This position is responsible for reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, product specifications, and special instructions to produce high-quality products to customer standards. You will ensure each step of the manufacturing process follows established QA and H&S procedures while meeting delivery deadlines.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic machines, including:
Haco TUR MN manual/CNC combination high-precision lathe with Siemens SINUMERIK control
Manual lathe, manual mill, manual punch press
Custom-built mechanical machines
Rolling and bending equipment
Perform minor machine adjustments and routine upkeep as required.
Build, fit, assemble, and finish products/kits in accordance with work orders and production schedules.
Follow all QA processes for in-process and final quality control as per company standards, maintaining accurate QA inspection reports.
Actively follow all Health & Safety Policies, Procedures, and Safe Work Practices.
Support cross-training initiatives within and between departments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong multi-tasking skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Mechanical aptitude, with experience using machine tools, hand tools, power tools, air tools, and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Previous experience in a machine shop or fabrication shop is an asset.
Physically fit and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment.
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English to comply with QMS and HSMS systems.
Willingness to work extended hours (50–60 hours/week) during peak demand and participate in weekly On-Call rotation as competency allows.
Comfortable working with a Windows PC for machine operation and job tracking.
