Job Description:
As a Proof reader (Marathi), your main responsibility will be to review and correct written content in the Marathi language. We are looking for an experienced Marathi teacher. Must have experience in checking copies. You will work closely with the content creation team to ensure that the content is error-free, accurate, and meets the required quality standards. Your role will involve identifying and correcting grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors. In addition, you will pay attention to the overall flow, coherence, and clarity of the content.
Experience:2-6 years
Responsibilities:
• Review and proofread Marathi content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax errors.
• Ensure consistency in language usage and follow established style guidelines.
• Verify the accuracy of facts, figures, and references mentioned in the content.
• Identify and correct issues with sentence structure, clarity, and readability.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy standards while meeting deadlines.
• Conduct thorough research, if required, to validate information provided in the content.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of style guides and reference materials.
• Stay updated with language-related developments and changes in the Marathi language.
Candidate Requirement:
• Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax rules in Marathi.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software.
• Familiarity with style guides and reference materials.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Strong research skills to verify information when necessary.
• Previous experience as a proofreader or editor in Marathi would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic computer software
Candidate Qualifications:-
Master’s degree or higher in Marathi, Linguistics, or Education, with a specialization or experience in teaching 11th and 12th-grade Marathi.
2+ years of experience teaching Marathi at the higher secondary level.
Strong command over Marathi grammar, syntax, and vocabulary, with an eye for detail in proofreading.
