Job description, work day and responsibilities
As a Marketplace Intern, you will assist in various aspects of managing our online marketplace presence, including but not limited to:
• Product Listings: Assist in creating and optimizing product listings for various online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho etc.)
• Data Analysis: Monitor sales data, track product performance, and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and improve marketplace strategies.
• Market Research: Conduct research on competitor listings, pricing strategies, and customer preferences to improve our marketplace approach.
• Inventory Management: Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely stock replenishments.
• Marketing Support: Assist with running promotional campaigns, updating marketplace content, and ensuring product visibility.
• Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and help improve the overall customer experience on the platform.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
• Strong interest in e-commerce and online marketplace management.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and generate insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho etc.) is a plus, but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of other data analysis tools is a plus.
