JOB BRIEF:
We are seeking a creative and versatile Marketing & Social Media Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing our marketing strategies, managing our social media platforms, and contributing to the overall growth of our brand. Key responsibilities include social media management, basic graphic design tasks, coordinating with vendors, maintaining Excel sheets and client databases, and assisting with content creation around the office. The successful candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
• Platform Management:
• Manage and schedule posts across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Increase engagement and grow our social media presence.
• Content Strategy:
• Assist in developing content strategies to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
Graphic Design
• Basic Design Tasks:
• Create and edit graphics for social media posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
• Brand Consistency:
• Ensure all designs are aligned with the company’s branding and visual identity.
Vendor Coordination
• Communication:
• Coordinate with vendors for marketing materials, printing, and other services.
• Ensure timely delivery of services/products and maintain good relationships with vendors.
• Negotiation:
• Assist in negotiating with vendors for cost-effective solutions.
Content Creation
• Photography/Videography:
• Capture and edit photos and videos during office meetings, events, and daily activities.
• Assist in creating educational videos and other content for marketing purposes.
• Content Collaboration:
• Work closely with the team to develop and execute content ideas that align with marketing goals.
Administrative Support
• Data Management:
• Maintain and update Excel sheets and client databases.
• Organize and manage data for marketing campaigns and client outreach.
• Documentation:
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other marketing documents.
Communication and Coordination
• Internal Communication:
• Work with various departments to gather content and coordinate marketing efforts.
• Assist in disseminating marketing materials and updates within the company.
• External Communication:
• Engage with clients, customers, and followers on social media to build relationships and promote our brand.
Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
