Position: Head of Digital Marketing
Reporting to: Founder & CEO - Meher Jadwani
What is the Role?
- This is a leadership position where you will be responsible for executing the strategic marketing objectives of Dearist. Your goal will be to liaise with the CEO and ensure that marketing objectives are met and being optimised.
- This is an "infinity-scope" role and hence you would be involved with all aspects of the marketing - content ideation, marketing campaigns, influencer marketing, email marketing, social media, display advertising, offline events, encompassing all these and more to achieve what makes Dearist the best in the business - customer satisfaction
- Understanding all our products, courses and consultations, and being able to communicate that with our leads
- Organise events for the team, for clients, and make sure every feels happy and important
Grow our team, as you will be our first hire
- Scheduling all appointments - private consultation clients, company meetings etc
You will shadow the Founder-CEO of Dearist for 3 months and absorb the learnings.
What You'll Do:
In typical startup fashion, you’ll be wearing many different hats and learning a lot along the way. Here are some things that we’d want you to help lead and execute:
- Digital marketing campaigns
- Planning creative digital marketing campaigns including web, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media and display advertising
- End-to-end lead generation and conversion, along with finding and coordinating with PPC agency
- Social media marketing
- Design, build and maintain our social media marketing
- Create social media marketing strategy through out-of-the-box content ideas
- Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and maximise ROI
- Experience with influencer marketing and different marketplaces is not required but preferred
- User experience
- Ideate and implement user growth campaigns
- Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- We are in the process for website upgradation, liaising with the agency and making the user experience better to capture more leads and convert them
- Data collection and analysis
- Measure and provide internal reports on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns by assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Establish data collection mechanisms + processes, allowing quick feedback loops for various cross functional teams
- Measure and improve site traffic
- Monitor competitor activity and keep an eye out for trends
- Manage and optimize for onsite and offsite SEO and look out for PR and backlink opportunities
- Design and develop different messaging strategies for key stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate new digital technologies and web analytics tools
- Perform A/B Tests and other multivariate experiments & measure the performance of CTAs to improve lead generation and conversion rates consistently
Who We’re Looking For
A curious, hungry and multifaceted Digital Marketer who wants to grow with our small but sharp team. We are looking for you to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across digital channels. You’ll be taking the lead, so we’d love if you have the following skills:
- A couple of years of digital marketing experience preferably in the e-commerce or B2C product industry
- Knowledge of various digital marketing and advertising platforms, tools and processes incl. Google, FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Email (of course)
- Ability to manage and work as a part of a hybrid team
- Enthusiasm for technology and entrepreneurship
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
