We are now seeking a Marketing and Community Engagement Officer to support our early growth, increase service awareness, and strengthen community connections.
About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, this part‑time role (Monday–Wednesday) supports marketing activities and community engagement initiatives that promote our services and values.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a growing organisation, can contribute ideas, and understands the importance of respectful, compliant communication in regulated service environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and delivery of marketing activities across NDIS, aged care, and community services
Assist with community engagement and relationship‑building with referral partners, stakeholders, and community groups
Prepare and update marketing and communication materials, including flyers, newsletters, website content, and social media
Support community outreach activities, information sessions, and events
Ensure all communications are clear, inclusive, ethical, and aligned with quality and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate records of engagement and marketing activities
Work collaboratively with operational and care teams to ensure messaging reflects service delivery and organisational values
About You
You are motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a start‑up or early‑growth environment. You enjoy community engagement and take pride in producing respectful, professional communication.
You will bring:
Experience in marketing, communications, or community engagement (health, aged care, or community services desirable)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of ethical, consumer‑focused communication
Ability to manage time effectively within part‑time hours
Confidence engaging with diverse community stakeholders
Qualifications and Requirements
Qualification in Community Services, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience or knowledge of NDIS, aged care, or community services desirable
Understanding of dignity, privacy, and the rights of service users
National Police Check
NDIS Worker Screening / Working with Vulnerable People (or willingness to obtain)
Valid Drivers licence and reliable vehicle.
