Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced international education recruitment professional who understands vocational education markets and has worked directly with both education agents and recruitment partners to build sustainable enrolment pipelines.
The role focuses on recruiting international students into English and VET training pathways (CHC courses) and requires commercial judgement, market awareness, and risk screening capability. This is not an admissions processing or general marketing role.
Core Responsibilities
Generate enrolments for English language and CHC programs (Individual Support, Community Services, Mental Health or related)
Manage active onshore and offshore agent relationships
Conduct consultations with students and representatives
Identify unsuitable or high-risk applicants early
Pathway & Network Development
Work with migration advisers to align study pathways with realistic outcomes
Deliver training sessions to agents on course positioning
Build long-term recruitment channels instead of transactional leads
Provide feedback on market trends and student behaviour
Maintain recruitment quality aligned with provider risk management
Plan and deliver marketing events and campaigns aligned with the college's strategic marketing plan
Mandatory Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Proficiency in digital tools, including Canva, ChatGPT (or other AI tools), and major social media platforms for recruitment and promotional activities as well as everyday tasks.
Minimum two years of recruitment experience specifically related to CHC package courses (e.g., Individual Support, Mental Health, Community Services).
Demonstrated experience working directly with international education agents, including training, communication, and relationship management.
Proven track record of generating student enrolments, with the ability to convert leads into confirmed applications.
Practical understanding of student visa risk indicators and how they affect recruitment and admissions decisions.
Existing professional network with migration advisers and education agencies that can support student recruitment activities.
Experience providing pathway planning advice for prospective students, including guidance on course progression and study options aligned with career goals.
