JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Commvault marketing team is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to support the execution of digital and field activities in region including email operations, program management, and overseeing alignment with the broader business initiatives to drive pipeline.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the marketing automation platform (Marketo) and fully leveraging its capabilities. Working closely with global marketers, project managers and marketing operations team, this role will implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through Marketo. This person will have a strong foundation in marketing automation and will be tasked with creating, implementing and improving best practices ensuring continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is technical, organized, results driven, has strong attention to detail and has a passion for digital applications.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and fulfil requests from cross-functional digital marketing teams including the creation of event programs, nurture execution, and digital tactics.
• Drive best practices around email governance and the utilization of marketing automation.
• Manage database integrity and compliance with local data privacy regulations
• Setup and manage martech stack vendors within marketing automation team.
• Schedule marketing automation program level reporting and reoccurring meetings with regional marketers to provide expert insight and the next steps for optimization.
• Create & manage email and landing page templates.
• Proactively A/B test and execute steps to optimize usage of email tactics in the region.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience using a Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo Certified Expert preferred)
• Experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce preferred)
• Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and API integration.
• Ability to present to management analytics and reports, interpret their results and make recommendations for improvement/change
• Ability to multi-task and manage the execution of several projects simultaneously
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Implementation experience in data management and operational campaigns (Ex. Opt-in, lead scoring and lead life cycle campaigns)
• Self-motivated professional who operates well in an empowered, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible to work in the EMEA time zone.
