Barrington James is seeking a talented Marketing Executive/ Senior Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of L&D and be responsible for actioning marketing strategy to attract life science clients and candidates, attract internal candidates to join our team and engage key stakeholders to raise brand awareness and drive growth.

Responsibilities
The Marketing Executive role will work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand business objectives. Alongside the Senior Marketing Manager, ensure minimum standards of marketing are delivered to support several different functional areas within life science and the overall Barrington James business. This includes: maintaining brand presence, keeping collateral updated, managing social channels, implementing new ideas, executing marketing campaigns and reporting.
• Develop and execute global marketing strategies: Create comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Identify target markets, customer segments, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for success.
• Campaign management: Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, email, and events. Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and make data-driven optimizations to maximize results.
• Brand management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning throughout all marketing activities. Develop and maintain brand guidelines and ensure adherence across all marketing collateral.
• Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, customer insights, and industry best practices. Utilize market intelligence to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Digital marketing: Oversee global digital marketing initiatives, including website content, SEO, social media presence, online advertising, and email marketing. Stay up-to-date with emerging digital trends and technologies.
• Training on latest technologies: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in social media platforms and technologies. Provide training and guidance to internal employees, on how to effectively utilize these technologies for marketing and recruitment purposes.
• Consultant personal branding: Work closely and take an active role with consultants to develop their personal brands. Provide guidance, support and training in establishing an online presence, crafting compelling content, and leveraging social media platforms to showcase their expertise. Collaborate with consultants to create thought leadership content, such as articles, blog posts, and videos, to enhance their professional reputation and expand their networks
• Analytics and reporting: Monitor, measure, and report on key marketing metrics, providing regular updates to Senior Marketing Manager .Utilize data-driven insights to assess campaign effectiveness and make informed decisions.
Expectations
• 1-2 year's marketing experience and/or a marketing qualification
• Good understanding of marketing disciplines, channels and campaign creation
• Experience of managing social media channels
• Creative skills - Canva, Adobe suite and/or PowerPoint ideally
