Job Title: Marketing Executive
Location: Hitchin SG4 0UZ (on-site, Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Working hours: 08:30am – 5pm
Who are OGT?
We are a small startup with big ambitions, founded by father-son Mike and Daniel Bedford. As a keen cyclist, Mike was shocked by the amount of plastic waste in the British countryside, so set out to do something about it. Daniel then used his scientific background to create a product that was completely plastic free with a fully natural, edible beeswax-based coating.
Our edible coating acts as a replacement for a traditional plastic wrapper. Putting convenience first, this means that there is no need to stop, and tear open any fiddly wrappers. OGT bars are the easiest snack a cyclist can eat on the move. Pop a bar in your jersey and you are good to go - spend less time refuelling and more time enjoying.
We are made by cyclists, for cyclists!
Responsibilities will include…
• Support with creative and design when required.
• Developing and maintaining a range of brand assets and promotional materials.
• Work with our website agency to ensure our website journey is optimised for customer growth:
o Customer-friendly design and format to maximise ease of use for customers.
o Project manage programme of work with agency.
o Understanding the basic software and implementation of improvements.
• Supporting the Marketing Manager with team admin, copy, and outreach tasks:
o Manage our passionate group of brand ambassadors.
o Work with influencers to reach our audience at scale.
o Support with reporting and understanding key metrics.
• Customer care:
o Responding to customer queries and complaints.
o Help customers get the most value from their subscription.
• Support the team with:
o Creation of organic social content.
o Email flow and design to maximise conversion, upsell and retention.
o Ongoing competitor monitoring and analysis.
o Bring your energy to key events and trade shows.
You will have…
• Up to 2 years of marketing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to use Microsoft office applications including Excel.
• Experience of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to be flexible and embrace change.
• Confidence in taking a proactive, personable approach.
• Comfortable working within a small team in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in website management is an advantage but not essential.
