Job description, work day and responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategies and Planning: a. Develop and execute innovative, results-driven campaigns to maximize revenue and reach audience targets for events across multiple locations. This includes audience identification, strategic planning, formative research, and multi-channel marketing strategies through content, paid media, PR, print, social, and promotions. b. Work with the Head of Marketing, communications department, finance officer and the Sales team to ideate appropriate pricing strategies, revenue targets and marketing budgets. c. Assist in and advise on managing all campaign spend through careful budget management. d. Work with the communications and sales teams to evaluate and report on the campaign’s performance to relevant stakeholders across the organisation, including providing regular management reporting to inform of the organisation’s activity. e. ON EVENT: i. Devising and Executing strategies for attendee and sponsor engagement and to boost networking throughout the event. ii. Coordinating with the communications and the photography team for maximizing digital marketing content. 2. Digital Planning and Social Media a. Coordinate with the marketing associate to strategize and evaluate the digital marketing activities. Playing a proactive role in creating and commissioning regular digital content in support of specific campaigns and wider strategic work to raise the profile of the organisation’s work within the community. 3. Corporate Relations Management (CRM) a. Support and inform the organisation’s corporate relation maintenance strategies as well as Customer Experience Strategy, implementing segmented customer communications and leading on the eCRM strategy with the Digital Marketing Manager. 4. Sponsor and Partner Relationship Management: Assisting the Head of marketing with the sponsor onboarding and management for events. a. Attending regular virtual and in person meetings accompanied by the Head of marketing and the Director with the potential clients and sponsors. b. Attending conferences and other events for business development and client scoping c. Coordinating with the finance team for sponsor onboarding and documentation. d. Coordinating with the logistics team for execution of the deliverables on event. e. Performing sponsor marketing pre- and post events on our digital platforms. Coordinating with the communications team for the same. 5. Media and PR: a. Media partner documentation and onboarding. b. Oversee and ensure timely press release submission and appropriate marketing material delivery. c. Report outcome of the partnership and advise on future associations 6. Working as a part of the team and coordinating with the IT and logistics team on events to ensure the smooth functioning of the event. 7. Post-Event Marketing & Reporting a. Conduct post-event survey campaigns for feedback collection and ensure smooth delivery of promised deliverables to partners. b. Assist Marketing lead in developing post-event reports for sponsors, partners, and internal stakeholders. Experience: ● 2+ years in marketing, PR, or event promotion. ● Experience in multi-channel marketing, CRM, and digital engagement. ● Strong ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies. ● Strong networking skills with corporate and industry leaders. ● Prior experience in sponsor and partner relationship management (optional). ● Good communication and negotiation skills. ● Prior leadership experience is a plus. ● Background in the Life science/biotech/biopharma spaces is a must. Qualifications: ● Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration or an equivalent course. ● Additional training in digital marketing or PR is a plus. Additional soft skills: ● Willingness to learn and adapt in various situations. ● Hard-working and smart-working candidate ● Inquisitive and innovative skills ● Team player Experience in event management from a pharm Indsutry is mandatory.
