We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join the team in our Sydney or Canberra HQ. As a key player within the marketing team, you’ll take ownership of initiatives that directly impact member acquisition, new location launches, and the turnaround of underperforming markets. Working across a portfolio of eight brands, you’ll help elevate each one - ensuring they consistently punch above their weight in a competitive landscape.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll operate at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’ll translate brand vision into high-performing campaigns, connect the dots across channels, and ensure every initiative delivers tangible results. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who wants to do more than contribute - you’ll shape outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Strategy & Execution

Own end-to-end campaigns across digital, print, OOH, and in-club channels, from brief to post-campaign review
Translate business priorities into targeted plans and lead execution across teams and partners
Deliver LAM, pre-sale, and new location campaigns, including launches, rebrands, and activations
Pre-Sale & Struggling Site Activation

Lead pre-sale campaigns from announcement to opening, driving leads and conversions against KPIs
Identify underperforming sites and implement targeted recovery strategies with GMs and Operations
Monitor, optimise, and review campaign performance to continuously improve results
Project Management, Budgets & Briefing

Manage campaign plans, timelines, resources, and budgets with clear visibility across all activity
Write strong briefs, align stakeholders, and manage agencies to deliver on time and on brand
Performance & Analytics

Own full-funnel performance across acquisition, conversion, and retention
Track key metrics (CPL, conversion, ROI), optimise spend, and act quickly on underperformance
Deliver clear insights, reporting, and market analysis to inform future strategy
Customer Experience & Retention Marketing

Map and optimise the end-to-end member journey across all touchpoints
Lead retention activity and use customer insights to refine messaging, offers, and timing
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education & Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (desirable)
Skills & Experience

5+ years in marketing roles with a track record of successful multi-channel campaign execution
Strong grasp of marketing principles and multi-channel campaign development across B2C environments
Proven ability to translate brand strategy into commercial campaign execution
Demonstrated success driving lead generation, brand growth, and member engagement
Proficient with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar)
Strong project management and commercial acumen, with the ability to prioritise in fast-paced environments
Proven budget management experience and the ability to run multiple campaigns effectively
Experience writing clear, actionable creative briefs and managing agencies and creative studios
Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional teams
Experience with pre-sale or new site launch campaigns, or activating underperforming locations
Excellent copywriting skills across both brand and local campaign contexts
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and refine briefs when needed
Experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or franchise environments (highly regarded)
