Axis Communications is looking for a highly motivated marketer to join our team. The position is a six-month contract (can potentially extend to + months/1 year) and will report directly to the Marketing Manager for South Asia Pacific.
Organisation Structure
As part of the Axis South Asia Pacific Regional Marketing team, the Marketing Consultant will be responsible for the portfolio of local key initiatives which includes executing the strategy for India SAARC, channel partner management, events management, digital marketing and working with the SAP team on the academy & training programs.
You will need a dynamic personality and a proven ability to co-ordinate among multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including managing expectations, providing solutions, and balancing a collaborative approach with the right measure of assertiveness and diplomacy. You will work closely with the sales team to drive multi-channel, multi-faceted marketing campaigns, lead generation programs, and tactics at the channels and end users’ community to generate the desired results assign to the sales & marketing objectives.
The Marketing Consultant reports directly to the Regional Marketing Head (RMM). You may also be required to assist the Regional Marketing Head in the larger SAP regional projects and tasks from time to time.
In addition to the execution of the strategy for the identified countries, you will manage
DEMAND GENERATION
• Work with the RMM and APAC teams to rollout relevant segment-specific campaigns in your region
• Provide feedback and insights about segments in your region to the Segment Marketing teams to help with their campaign creation planning
• Measure the level of lead generation and conversion in key segments
EVENTS (ONLINE & OFFLINE)
• Ensure that the Axis brand experience and solution messaging is represented at key industry events and at Axis’ own organic events such as customer conferences.
PARTNER MARKETING: Channel and Distributors
• Work with our channel partner organisation to devise a program to help us go to market via distributors and partners.
• Ensure we have a balance between co-marketing activities with partners and end customers.
• Ensure our partner communications strategy is tailored to the region using our newsletters, onboarding content, local website content and local content marketing.
Axis Experience Centre (aec)
• Plan and successfully execute the launch of the Axis Experience Centre
• Rollout the AEC marketing program
• Use AEC as a brand experience touchpoint to generate and influence leads from our distributors, partners, technology integration partners, end customers and press
• Review how well AEC is utilised and provide best practices on how to enhance the experience
AXIS COMMUNICATIONS’ ACADEMY
• Work with RMM to enhance the value proposition of the Axis Academy
• Market the course curriculum
• Work with the relevant chief trainer in the region to ensure we have a pulse on our training material is received
• Provide insights and feedback on shaping our course roadmap
You will work in a team environment, cross collaborating with marketing colleagues from central marketing teams to orchestrate and deliver your marketing programs. This is a dynamic role for a proactive and results-driven marketing professional that gives you the ability to come in and make a big difference from Day 1, in a market that is growing exponentially.
This position is based in our Bangalore office, working 5 days a week and we strongly practice a culture of work-life balance.
Experience:
• A degree communication, Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a strategic marketing role for a multinational company and 5 years of marketing program management experience.
• B2b experience in indirect sales, Channel Marketing will be a great advantage
• Experience in integrated marketing, i.e. PR, events, demand generation, digital channels, partner marketing and marketing programme management
• Experience in CRM solutions such as Salesforce and MAP solutions such as Pardot, Marketo, Eolqua is an added advantage
Important skills/abilities for this role:
• Someone with strong communications and project management skills. Strong growth mindset. Ability to think creatively and execute
• A self-driven and self-motivated team player, with the ability to own and drive marketing projects simultaneously with strong prioritization and time management skills, ability to manage concurrent tasks efficiently
• Superior attention to detail; first-class organizational skills
• Strong negotiating skills and experience working with event organisers, vendors and agencies
• High energy, positive, professional attitude, take pride in work product
• Great team member: willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to help your colleagues when needed
• Able to translate marketing knowledge into activities that drive sales.
• Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and influencing peers and leadership
