Housekeeper/ Mothers Helper Windsor

Nanny Start Date: Late July (Flexible for the right fit)

Pay Rate:

· Permanent Part Time:
$35- 40 per hour plus superannuation and leave entitlements (based on experience)

· Casual:
$40 per hour + super

Days/ Hours: 3 days per week, flexible on days

· Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (preferred)

· 4pm-7pm

· Opportunity for occasional babysitting on date nights and weekends

About the Family:

This role is with a warm and welcoming professional family with two young children & a friendly, senior Labradoodle. They enjoy spending weekends at the park, swimming, playing soccer, and dining out. Both children attend daycare full-time and love outdoor activities like riding bikes, visiting playgrounds, playing in the sprinkler, and building cubby houses.

The children are:

· 3.5-year-old boy – A chatty, imaginative little boy who loves storytelling, cars, and trucks.

· 2-year-old girl – In her toddler era, she loves being involved in household activities, playing with her brother, and helping out. She also enjoys colouring and reading stories.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a nanny who is creative and passionate about cooking and planning meals. A special person, who thrives in a family environment and can work as part of a team to assist with making life easier for these busy parents. Ideally our nanny would be creative and fun with the children and have a warm, mature personality. This family has a cleaner and will only expect that the nanny do general tidying, dishes and clean up (no deep cleaning required).

A glimpse into the role:

This role primarily focuses on home-helper duties, with some nanny responsibilities as needed.

· Meal Planning & Preparation – Plan meals for the family and assist with online grocery orders. The parents find meal planning and cooking challenging and would love a nanny who is confident and passionate in the kitchen.

· Kitchen & Grocery Assistance – Unpack groceries on delivery day, prepare dinner and other snacks and meals for the week, and clean up the kitchen afterward.

· Household Tasks – Tidy the home the day before the cleaners arrive, provide laundry assistance (put laundry in the washing machine and dryer), and take the family’s senior dog for short strolls.

· Childcare Support – Occasionally provide extra childcare when one parent has evening work, including occasional daycare pickups.

· Ad-hoc Babysitting – Occasional weekend babysitting as require

· Evening Routine Assistance – Mum typically picks up the children from daycare between 5:00–5:30 pm. Parents would like to focus on quality time with the kids, so the nanny will most often provide support including: making dinner and cleaning kitchen, preparing children’s daycare bags for the following day. Occasionally, when one parent is away the nanny may instead be asked to assist with bath and bedtime routines and engaging in quite activities with children.

Requirements:

· Blue Card

· First Aid & CPR Certification

· Professional experience caring for children aged 2 to 4 years

· Two glowing references

· Driver’s Licence (A family vehicle will be provided for work-related use)

· Non-Smoker

Job Types: Casual, Contract

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
