Position: Maternity Cover Teacher (KS1)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Duration: Maternity Cover
• Salary - Paid to scale MPS/UPS
Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a wonderful Primary School in Croydon, covering maternity leave.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS1 Students.
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure progression and development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging a love for learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils' educational and emotional needs.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Proven experience teaching across KS1.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual pupil needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for education and a commitment to safeguarding and pupil well-being.
